As Barbados continues to stamp its place among the world’s global business domiciles, BIBA, the Association for Global Business hosted on March 27 – 28, 2025 the 5th annual Barbados Risk & Insurance Management (BRIM) conference. This must-attend event brought together local, regional, and international thought leaders on insurance, risk management, and global business. The conference was hosted at the Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lord’s Castle Resort and once again attracted over 200 industry professionals.
Patrick E. Taylor, Founder and Managing Director of Worldwide Reinsurance Limited, was a key panelist speaker at this event. Mr. Taylor spoke about MGA’s, a new frontier in expanding the Re/Insurance landscape and opportunities for Barbados.
